What Suits You? (Part Two)

We've looked at Lapels, but what about what goes under the Jacket?

The Shirt, what type of shirt will you be wearing

There are four types of shirts that we want to show you today.

Classic Fit, Slim fit, Tailored Fit and an Evening Shirt

Classic Fit Shirt

The classic fit is the most common shaped shirt and you will find being worn in the office. It has a box shape and is loose fitting allowing you to move around with ease and won't cause to to get too hot with fabric clinging to you.

Slim Fit Shirt

The slim fit shirt is tailored at the waist and the chest and also seelves showing a silhouette, it's sleek and stylish, this type of shirt can work perfectly for a formal event but if you loose the tie and undo a button or two you have something more casual that you can with chinos or jeans.

Tailored Fit Shirt

you're going to a wedding or other formal event we suggest this shirt to wear. The tailored fitted shirt is similar to the slim fitted shirt however it hasn't been taken in as much around the chest and the waist and not at all at the sleeves. The tailored fit closely resembles the classic fit. It's a loose fitting shirt but has been stylised, this shirt is great for around the office as well as formal events. If

The Evening Shirt

This shirt is the formal shirt of all formal shirts and has the shape of a classic fitted shirt. You will find it either it to be plain or with pleats on it at the front (but we think pleats give extra elegance to the outfit.) It's not to be worn at a formal event but a black tie event. If you are attending a reward ceremony, red carpet event or even a dinner and your invite specifies "Black Tie" for the dress code this is the shirt to pick. Pair it with either a cravat or a bow tie and not a neck tie and a is to be worn with a tuxedo rather than a suit.
